Weigh In? What weigh in???

So it’s been awhile since I’ve posted a Weigh-In Wednesday. Partially because I’ve been doing “works for me Wednesday”, partially, because, well, I’ve lost my focus. I’ve become content to hang out at around 175, give or take a pound. I’ve given up on the idea of carving out time to exercise. I’ve gotten lax about what I’m eating. I’m maintaining, but I feel like a few more weeks of just getting by will turn into gaining back the five pounds I’ve lost.

And I’m going to be in sunny Florida, with noticeably less clothes on in exactly four weeks. So. I’m weighing back in on Wednesday. Encouraging comments welcome!

Oh, and currently, I’ve scaled back on the snacking since I’m spending every free moment entering giveaways. (No food ’round the ‘puter) And I’m busy reading entries to my first giveaway and my second giveaway. And making calorie-free Valentines. So I’m off to a good start.

Weigh-In Wednesday…

Today is weigh in day at Tales from the Scales. I am happy to report that I am down one pound from last week. As Thea posted a week ago, I’m also realizing that I am more on a fitness journey at this point in my life. Yes, I have a few pounds to lose, but without exercise, I really don’t think it’s going to happen. SO, I’m going to focus on that this month. I do best if I have a consistent routine, which will be a challenge with my current schedule, but I’m going to try. I promise to report back!

The first weigh in of the new year

Oh my. It looks like I’ll have plenty to do this year–like lose those pesky pounds AGAIN.

Today’s weight is 178lbs. Which is definitely up from before Christmas, but actually down from the disaster that was last week’s eating (cookies!candy!fudge!eggnog! oh my!).

I’m glad this part of Look Great in 2008 Challenge has been extended–I definitely looked better in August of 2007 than I do now!
