Above is the view we woke up to this morning. To the right is where our AC unit is. Those little black specks are our solar lights that are about a foot tall. Holy Drifting Snow, Batman!
Due to the FOOT of snow we got yesterday, I got to spend the day with my two favorite Valentines. Check out Miss M in front of our door, after the snow blowers came through the neighborhood:
You can check out hubby’s flickr account for more of our snowy adventures. I did venture out today–down to school (a whole 3 miles down the road) to pick up a few things to continue to work on the upcoming fundraiser. I also journeyed to Sam’s Club (1 mile up the road) for a few things. I foolishly went in looking for something special for dinner tonight. Dinner for 2 and 1/2. At Sam’s. This is what I found:
Pounds and pounds of chicken, ravioli, parm cheese, breadsticks and a huge cookie. Dinner for 2 and 1/2 for the next, what, 5 nights???
Wow, you’ve got a lot of snow there! 🙂 Cute pictures.
Sams club is dangerous, isn’t it? That’s a cute Valentine’s Day cookie you got. I hope you had a nice day yesterday!
Oh, I wanted to be sure to thank you for taking the time to comment on my WFMW 10 Reasons Why Parents Should Not Spank post. It sounds like you use a lot of the same techniques that we do for disciplining. One thing that also works for us when Snuggle Bug is throwing a tantrum, we swoop him up and start tickling him! It doesn’t take long for him to forget what he was upset about and then all is right with the world again. 🙂
M looks SO cute in her snow gear!
