October is one of my favorite months- there are so many fun things to do around town, and pumpkin pie spice is in all of the food- what’s not to like?
Last week, Leilan and I were able to preview the Children’s Museum Guild’s 50th Annual Haunted House. We’ve done it twice now, so I believe this makes it a tradition. We take the kids to school, wave goodbye and then head to the Children’s Museum without them.
What they don’t know won’t hurt them, right?
As always, the Haunted House has outdone itself. This year’s theme is “Time Warp” and visitors time travel back in time to the upside down room featured in the very first Haunted House in 1964. Adding to the effects this year are 3D glasses- you have to see it to believe it. As you travel through each “dead”cade, you will see references to pop culture for each time period. It’s a journey both children and adults will enjoy!
