KinderCones for Kindergarten Graduates!

I don’t know if I became a teacher because I love school supplies, or if I love school supplies because I’m a teacher, but after all these years I still love the excitement of the first days of school and the new school supplies that go with them.

When Mom Central put the call out for reviews of the KinderCone, I was very excited to receive one to review.

KinderCones were developed by German Vivan Lie and are based on the German tradition of giving a Shultute when a child starts primary school. It’s a traditionally a paper cone filled with small treats and school supplies to wish the young scholar luck. Parents present the Schultute to their children on their first day of school.

KinderCones are designed for children entering first grade. The large, colorful cone is filled with school supplies, and a very fun journal called, Me, Myself & First Grade. You can personalize the cones by putting your child’s own favorite things. Check out www.kindercone.com to see all of the options to create the perfect gift for your kindergarten grad or beginning first grader.

I know that MaM will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this surprise. It’s going to be tricky hiding the giant cone for the next year, but the look on her face will be priceless.

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of KinderCone and received KinderCone samples to facilitate my review. Mom Central also sent me gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.” www.momcentral.com
