I have been to a few Indiana wineries but love Brown County and Buck Creek. Both have some great normal wines, but also some out of the ordinary wines as well. Check out Buck Creek if you’re ever on your way to Cincinnati from Indianapolis…..they are right off exit 99 on I-74.

For a wonderful weekend take your girl friends or significat other and spend some time in Madison, Indiana! You can stay at a lovely B&B and visit three awesome winerys: Lanthier, Madison Vineyards, and Thomas Family Winery. I really enjoyed visiting Lanthier and trying their Festival Cherry. This wine smells like cherry pie & tastes so good! You can even get a recipe to use this wine in a spritzer which is great on a summer day!

The first time I tried wine was on our honeymoon in Brown County. We thought we were so grown up drinking wine at a winery.

I went to Chateau Thomas Winery for a wedding reception a couple years ago- beautiful venue, and it was cool to see where the wine was made!
