Winners!!!

Honest to goodness, I was at random.org to pick the winners the giveaway, and a Hallmark commercial came on…you know the song, “Say what you mean to say….”

Anyway, the winners are: #8 Storkwatcher, #12 Heather and #9 Danetta!

Ladies, I will be emailing you—congrats, thank you to everyone for playing and thanks to Hallmark for such a fun giveaway.

And so the question remains—breakfast in bed or breakfast out. The problems with breakfast in bed include: it’s actually really kind of hard to eat in bed, especially with overzealous kiddos bouncing around. And then there’s the possiblity of the dishes being left for you…..at the same time, breakfast out poses problems: long waits on the holiday, chasing toddlers around the restaurant, cutting someone else’s French Toast, wiping up spilled juice…..

I think maybe I’ll just sneak away to Starbucks, alone, early in the A.M. before the days starts.

Parc is Crap spelled backwards…

The CRAP: This morning my life revolved around, um, crap. As expelled by my children. Really, that’s all you need to know–5 diapers, three outfits, and one carpet cleaning later, we needed to get out of the house.

The PARC: Indiana apparently decided to skip spring this year and launched straight into Summer, so I pulled out the sun screen and once we were lathered up, the kids and I walked to the parc (clever, I know), and our day turned around from there.

I’m finding the double bike trailer to be my new favorite mode of transporting both kiddos–they both fit, it’s easy to steer and it’s light-weight.

Today, MAM decided to join me in walking to the park–she happily pranced the entire mile to the park without breaking a sweat, and then ran around for 30 minutes.

And then rode home in the stroller with her brother. Does it get any better than this?

There is still time to enter my Hallmark Giveaway! You have to play to win….

Miss Bossy Pants

Actual directions from my daughter today, “Mama, stop singing. The man in the radio doesn’t need your help. A boy is singing. Girls are not singing now!”

And so I’ve been schooled.

This week has just gone on and on….it feels like each day has been a week unto itself. Maybe because it’s still light out when it’s nearly 9pm? Maybe because the boy child is still eating .all.through.the.night.? Maybe because I know there are exactly 20 days of school left? Because I have something fun to do Friday night (Indigo Girls!), Saturday night (cooking club dinner!) and Sunday (Uppercase Living party) and really, I’m just counting down the hours….

If you haven’t already, check out my Hallmark Recordable Card Giveaway–I have three prizes to give away…right now, it looks like all who play will win! (come on, who can’t use a few greeting cards to send?)
