for the first time in 2007, I think. No kidding. It was rather liberating. Things have been quiet there these past two days, and it’s been nice to just “be” in the classroom, and not have a to-do list of 5oo things spinning in my head while I’m supposed to be teaching. And I’ve been alleviated of my mopping duty, which has been a huge relief. I’m still doing the rest of the cleaning, but I’ve got a better vacuum now and it’s not all that bad.
So today I left on time, came home for lunch, caught up on some online banking (including paying off a car!!!) and I’m now finding myself with a little “free” time before I need to pick M up. How odd. I’m going to stare out the window, I think.
